Wooden conduit has become a regular feature in much of our work and serves as a great example of our design process and the challenges we present ourselves.

They began as facsimiles of metal conduit that served to make literal and figurative connections between objects/spaces. The next step was to design them so that they would be hollow and could carry electrical wire. Finally, we figured out how to bend the pieces so that we could mimic bent pieces of conduit while still leaving a hollow channel for wire.
